Arts District energy.
Valley roots.
From the NoHo Arts District to Chandler Park — North Hollywood is changing fast. I help you find value before the market catches up.

I’m Matt Bissell
I live and work in the Valley and track North Hollywood pocket by pocket. My planning background means I look at zoning, lot potential and where the neighborhood is headed — and I stay with you from the first tour through closing.
What North Hollywood is like
North Hollywood is the Valley’s most transit-rich neighborhood: the Metro B Line (Red) ends here and the G Line (Orange) busway begins, linking Hollywood, Downtown and the West Valley. Around the station, the NoHo Arts District packs in small theaters, studios, restaurants and newer apartment buildings.
Step a few blocks out and it’s classic Valley: bungalows and ranch homes around Chandler Park and the Chandler bike path, with quieter streets toward Valley Village and Burbank.
Know the micro-market
NoHo Arts District
Walkable to theaters, restaurants and Metro. Condos and townhomes dominate; SFRs command a premium.
Valley Village-adjacent
Quieter streets with mid-century character homes.
Chandler Park / Whitsett
Near Chandler Park and the bikeway. Good lot sizes with ADU potential.
Burbank-adjacent
East NoHo near the studios. Quiet streets with newer construction mixed in.
Ranges are illustrative, based on general recent activity — not an appraisal. Ask for current comps.
What’s shaping North Hollywood
- Station development. Metro has advanced a large joint development (“District NoHo”) on its station land. Timing and phasing change — I track the current status rather than the renderings.
- Bus rapid transit. Metro’s North Hollywood–Pasadena BRT will add a fast east-west connection toward Burbank, Glendale and Pasadena.
- ADU-ready lots. Many single-family lots here are large enough for a detached ADU — a common value-add play.
Project timelines change. I separate approved projects from proposals and verify status against city and Metro sources before advising on a deal.
